Counter-moments
Power logic enters a crisis when those involved think and feel within different relational frameworks, such as a community of mutual respect and shared responsibility. Whether and to what extent mutual respect exists can depend on a variety of factors, including personal experiences, situational circumstances, and a strong social movement against absolute power. The more broadly resources are distributed in a society, the better the chances of preventing or countering the concentration of power.
Striving for counter-power is a logical counter-strategy against (imperialist) power and is often unavoidable; however, counter-power also exhibits the typical characteristics of power and power-logical thinking; only when the participants jointly recognize and effectively protect rules and norms of mutual respect (civility) are absolute power structures and power logic overcome.
