Summary

Based on the image of nautical navigation, the concept of civility navigation has developed (see accompanying dialogue texts). According to this concept, civility-conscious actors orient themselves as realistically as possible within a complex reality in order to act responsibly. Civility navigation in this sense includes the analysis of situational conditions, respective courses of action, and foreseeable consequences of actions within the space of variables in civility theory (interaction logics, forms of interaction, levels of civility), and, consequently, the development of a corresponding responsible orientation and management approach.
