... international legal structures are destroyed; all independent countries are threatened, general freedom, equal rights and truthful communication no longer matter: Whoever orders the bombing of a population and then wants to market the destroyed area as an attractive beach resort, whoever calls an invaded country that is defending itself against terrorist rocket attacks and land grabs responsible for the war, justifies oppression and war and makes lies the omnipresent reality.

If only narrow-minded self-interest and power count, there is no shared responsibility: Existential dangers to humanity such as the climate crisis, the unchecked development of artificial intelligence, and the danger of a world war due to an arms race are ignored; humanity has no chance to coordinate effectively.
